Frequency healing is a type of sound wave therapy where various sound frequencies trigger changes to jumpstart the healing process in our body.
Gregorian Chants, Medieval hymns, and Sanskrit Chants are examples of this healing modality which dates back thousands of years. Famed philosopher Aristotle mentioned frequency healing in his book De Anima, where he links flute music to strong emotions and purifying the soul. Egyptians historically used musical chants to heal the sick. The practice even goes back to Pythagoras, who allegedly discovered musical intervals and may have been the first to prescribe music as medicine as a way of restoring harmony within the self.
Today, aside from the wonderfully healing of sound therapy itself, we also find multiple examples of frequency therapy under the banner of Vibrational Healing or BioResonance Therapy (BRT).
BioResonance therapy (BRT) is a non-invasive technique used in many alternative and complementary healing medicine practices to determine the root cause of health concerns, so that the body can be restored to better health and equilibrium.
It is based on the principal that all living organisms, including humans, emit and interact with electromagnetic fields. These fields are generated by the movement of charged particles within cells and tissues, such as the flow of ions across cell membranes during nerve impulses or muscle contractions. Electromagnetic fields play a vital role in the body’s functioning.
Every biological process involves the exchange of information, which occurs through the transmission of energy in the form of electromagnetic frequencies. These frequencies are unique to each specific process: healthy tissues emit coherent and harmonious frequencies, whereas unhealthy or dysfunctional tissues generate incoherent and disharmonious ones.
“Every health disorder has a frequency, which in turn responds (resonates) to a specific (optimal) frequency for its dissolving/healing in the body.”
Dr Royal Raymond Rife
Once detected, the unhealthy wavelengths can be corrected back to normal to promote healing in the body. We also use this information to better understand the underlying causes of the person’s health concern.
“In every culture and in every medical tradition before ours, healing was accomplished by moving energy.”
Albert Szent-Gyorgyi, Nobel Laureate in Medicine
Resonance is a phenomenon in which one object’s vibrations cause another object to vibrate at the same frequency. In the context of BioResonance Therapy, healthy tissue frequencies can be used to “tune” unhealthy tissues back to their optimal state.
By reintroducing coherent frequencies to the body, BioResonance Therapy aims to restore harmony and balance, which promotes healing, detoxification and overall well-being.
How does it work?
During a BioResonance analysis session, the client holds a BioResonance rod or wears a set of BioResonance earphones. These devices are designed to detect the client’s unique electromagnetic frequencies, analyse them, and provide feedback on areas which are not operating at optimal ranges, or where pathogens may be present.
Using the same principal, in order to uplift the functioning of the body, the BioResonance device sends customized frequencies to the body, correcting imbalances and supporting the body’s natural healing and elimination processes.
Some examples of the healing ability of specific frequencies include the following:
174 Hz – Assists with pain and stress relief while improving concentration
285 Hz – Mends tissue and organ damage
396 Hz – Relieves guilt and fear
432 Hz – Elevates feelings of inner peace and well-being
528 Hz – Awakens the imagination, creativity, intuition, and love
639 Hz – Assists in the repair of distressed or broken relationships
741 Hz – Instills clarity and soothes chronic pain
852 Hz – Restores spiritual balance and reconnects you to the Earth’s heartbeat
963 Hz – Creates unity and oneness with the spiritual side of our universe
BioResonance Therapy is often used alongside other holistic health practices, so your practitioner may also recommend other treatment modalities such as Reflexology, Nutrition therapy, Lymph drainage, Acupuncture, Chiropractic manipulation, and so on.
Most people won’t feel anything happening during treatment when hooked up to the machine via electrodes. A single session may last around an hour, and you may go through several treatment sessions over a prescribed time. However, this may vary based on the complexity of your condition and the unique approach of the practitioner.
BioResonance Therapy has been used for many decades as an alternative diagnostic and healing tool, and is often used for an extensive range of illnesses, symptoms, and diseases. Common conditions that BioResonance Therapy is used for include the list below, but there are literally hundreds of areas of analysis and treatment possible.

- Allergies
- Food intolerances
- Fatigue
- Eczema
- Smoking addiction
- Depression
- Fibromyalgia
- Rheumatoid arthritis
- Pain
- Stomach pain and digestive disorders
- Cancer
- Obesity
- And many more…
General benefits of the technique include restoring the natural flow of the energy in the body, helping align the body’s frequencies, improving mood, boosting energy, reducing toxins, healing the destructive toll of stress, and more.
BRT is non-invasive and does not have any direct side effects, so it is generally considered safe to try as part of a comprehensive healthcare plan.
